We have internet connection!

We are anchored between Cabbage Key and Useppa Island and I've secured a connection.  The website has been updated with my journal and lots of photos so please check it out.  We head for Marco Island tomorrow and then on to Key West Tuesday.  I hope to give you another update soon!

So, you're finally underway. We wish you both a great adventure. Your log entries are great reading, Heidi. As for you, Captain Harry, get with it.
Don't forget to let us know when you tie up at the end of a highway from Lakeland for more than a couple of days.
Sherry just had her right knee replacement surgery (July 16) so she's still non- navigable. Probably September or October till she can endure any long distance travel.
Harry, I think I still have my father's sea scout manual. At least I hope I do. It was published in the 1920's and deals with all things nautical. If I find it, would you like to have it?

I was too late. If you haven't gotten to Marco Island yet, watch the red markers, they veer sharpely to the south, out of the river. If you stay in the middle of the channel you will run aground. Inside, anchor on the north side of the channel or go to the marina. Otherwise, johnny law will be a hassle. Other than that, Marco Island is a great stop.
